Akumal Place of the Turtles.

Famous for its beautiful beach and large, swimmable lagoon, Akumal (Place of the Turtles) does attract turtles, though in far fewer numbers than before due to the massive development that has encroached on nearly all of their nesting grounds. This is one of the Yucatán Peninsula’s oldest resort areas and consists primarily of hotels, condominiums and residential developments on nearly 5km of wide beach bordering four consecutive bays.

Puerto Aventuras

Puerto Aventuras, established on a spectacular stretch of white sand beach, is a 900-acre community resort located 98 kilometers south of Cancun. The complex is built along the beach and around a large sports complex. Puerto Aventuras is 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen. One of the most important tourist development area with many attractions. It has a golf course, two large 5-star hotels, condominiums, marina and shooping center. The marina offers many services for ships, yachts, many of them fishing enthusiasts.

Punta Maroma

Punta Maroma is considered among the most beautiful beaches in the world and one of the favorite destinations for honeymooners due to the turquoise blue of its waters, its soft white sand and the tranquility that prevails in this place. Located 35 km from the international airport of Cancun and 15 km from Playa del Carmen, Punta Maroma offers a calm atmosphere in practically virgin beaches. In terms of accommodation, in this place you can only find cabins to relax with all the services that a hotel offers.

Paamul

Paamul is the perfect option to get away from the busiest beaches in the Caribbean and continue enjoying top-level services. On the beach there are lounge chairs, parasols and palapas. Xcacel beach

The ecological reserve is very protected (in 1998 the safeguarded area was created), which allows the ecosystem of dunes (dunes) to serve as a natural barrier with its low but strong vegetation that sinks into the sand. Palm trees and mangroves follow each other creating a microcosm of fauna and flora in just 350 hectares.

The beach of Xcacel is still quiet, where people from places and curious tourists who have investigated a little more isolated areas and not as crowded as Playa del Carmen or Akumal. Despite this, it can be considered one of the most beautiful in the Riviera Maya
